The exhibition took place at the seaside Hotel Rantapuisto in Vuosaari, Helsinki, where GAP-Audio showcased its DIY Crevasse speakers at the audiophile DIY booth. The park’s maritime setting was the perfect backdrop for enjoying great music, admiring state-of-the-art equipment, and exchanging ideas with the GAP-Audio team in relaxed chats. The event also featured several other, even more powerful speaker systems, drawing audiophiles to indulge in the show’s offerings and the stunning coastal scenery.

The exhibition drew a record number of visitors over its two-day run and received rave reviews for its maritime setting and unique atmosphere. It was a pleasure to present our take on the early-2000s’ legendary Crevasse speakers—long out of production—and to revive the memories they inspire. Our all-analogue, vinyl-focused setup was kept as simple as possible, with a few tracks streamed for variety. The DIY Crevasse speakers earned enthusiastic praise, and some attendees lingered in the listening room for hours, returning again and again. Industry exhibitors also showcased a wealth of new equipment, which proved a delightful surprise for both us and our guests. Read more about the speaker project.
